vCenter Active Directory Authentication

- Login on the web with vCenterNameOrIP:9443

- click on administration - Single Sign-ON - Configuration - Identity Sources and click on Add button

- Choose "Active Directory (Integrated Windows Authentication) and put domain name if not automatically filled

- click ok

 

- Login to vCenter with vSphere Client

- click on top level of vCenter

- click on permissions tab

- click on 

- click on Roles under Access Control 

- right click add permission

- select the role e.g. administrator

- click on add

- choose the desired domain

- In search box search for the user or group

- click on desired found  user or group

- click on add

- click on OK

- click on Ok again

- Close vSphere client

- Open vSphere client and put the vCenter name or ip and login with windows credential
